Kaisa Happonen

Kaisa Happonen (b. 1982) is an inventive children’s author who works across platforms including television, interactive digital formats and books. Kaisa’s has a bright spirit, which shines through in everything she does. She holds a master’s degree in Drama and Communications from the University of Jyväskylä. One of Finland’s most-loved children’s TV presenters, she has previously performed in children’s plays and worked as a library storyteller. Her books have been translated into over 20 languages.

In 2024 the WSOY Literary Foundation awarded Kaisa Happonen and Anne Vasko the Literary Prize honoring their remarkable literary oeuvre.
