German rights to SIGGA & SATU’S ICELANDIC SWEATERS sold to Südwest Verlag!

Satu Rämö, author of Hildur and Rósa & Björk also happens to be a keen amateur knitter and has teamed up with her friend and fellow Icelandic Westfjords dweller, Ívaf label founder and knitwear designer, Sigga Gylfadóttir, on this beautiful knitting guide published by WSOY last November. German rights to SIGGA & SATU’S ICELANDIC SWEATERS (Siggan ja Satun islantilaiset villapaidat, WSOY 2022) have just sold to Südwest Verlag, a sister company to Hildur publisher, Heyne Verlag.

Using traditional Icelandic yarns and honoring Icelandic traditions, Sigga and Satu’s book is a contemporary guide for knitters of all abilities to creating their own, beautiful lopapeysa sweaters – with a twinkle in the eye! With 13 designs, the book includes a pattern for the ‘Hildur’ sweater, inspired by Satu’s 100,000-copy bestselling titular crime novel.
