Timo Parvela shortlisted for the Hans Christian Andersen Award!

We are overjoyed to share that Timo Parvela is shortlisted for the Hans Christian Andersen Award 2024! The winner will be announced at the Bologna Children’s Book Fair on April 8. Warmest congratulations!

The Hans Christian Andersen Awards are given by the International Board on Books for Young People IBBY. The awards recognise one living author and one living illustrator for their lasting contribution to children’s literature, and are the highest international recognition given in the field. The writing award was first given in 1956, and the illustration award in 1966.
