Film & TV option to Arttu Tuominen’s River Delta series sold to Lucy Loves Drama Oy!

The film and TV option to Finnish crime writer Arttu Tuominen’s bestselling River Delta series (WSOY, 2019—) has been sold to Lucy Loves Drama Oy!

“We’re really excited to start working with Arttu,” says Lucy Loves Drama’s Managing Director Mikko Räisänen. “We plan to start developing a TV series based on the River Delta series, which we’ll start pitching to distributors and commissioning editors later this year.

“I was especially taken by how Arttu approaches characterisation in his books I started to fall in love with the River Delta series as I read THE OATH, but I really fell for Arttu’s writing after reading JEOPARDY. The greatest reason was the depth of Arttu’s characters.”

Translation rights to Tuominen’s River Delta series are so far sold to Modtryk in Denmark; La Martinière in France (two-book deal); Bastei Lübbe in Germany (three-book deal); Piemme in Italy (two-book deal); De Fontein in the Netherlands (three-book deal); and Lind & Co in Sweden (two-book deal).
