Romanian rights sold to Waltari’s novellas A STRANGER CAME TO THE FARM and THE EPILOGUE!

Polirom recently acquired Romanian rights to Waltari’s novella A STRANGER CAME TO THE FARM (Vieras mies tuli taloon, WSOY 1937) and its sequel THE EPILOGUE (Jälkinäytös, WSOY 1938). Both novellas will be published later this month in a joint volume as part of Polirom’s TOP10 -series. The translation by George Sbârcea dates back to the 1960s, when the novellas were first published in Romania.
